Bright Light Bright Light's new album is good with tea and a biscuit

  • May 24, 2012
  • Mikey

Valleys-pop vigilante Bright Light Bright Light wants you to enjoy his debut record over a cup of PG Tips.

While he admits he "never has any idea" how to describe the album, he took a stab at: "11 songs under the broad umbrella of pop with some guest vocals from some of my favourite people".

Granted the chat was with Fake DIY, so we're hoping the "broad umbrella" reference was just not to startle anyone and what he really has tucked in his man-satchel is a glitter squirting parasol.

'Make Me Believe In Hope' contains in Rod's words: "Some songs to dance to, some to cry to, some to fall in love to, some to enjoy a cup of tea to. Or dance/cry with a cup of tea to."

Put the kettle on, milk and two sugars, June 4.
