Brandon Flowers thinks that 'dance music' will never be as good as 'Mr Brightside'

  • September 6, 2012
  • Owen Myers

Brandon Flowers has expressed his view that dance music will never be as good as 'rock‘n’roll'.

In an interview with ShortList, the The Killers singer of song said "dance music cannot compete with a really great rock‘n’roll song".

So is this no good then?

The 'Jilted Lovers & Broken Hearts' hitmaker continued: "There ain’t no DJ that’s gonna play something that can take 'Mr Brightside' or 'Don’t Look Back In Anger'."

It's funny isn't it how selective some people's memory can be when they've got a new album to plug and blokey blokes to impress.
