Black Eyed Peas' apl.de.ap is legally blind

  • January 17, 2011
  • Brad O'Mance

Black Eyed Peas rapper apl.de.ap  has revealed that he suffers from genetic eye disorder Nystagmus, which makes him legally blind.

As opposed to ILLEGALLY BLIND.

"When I dance, I picture myself and the floor in my head," he told The Sun. "I'm comfortable not using my vision. I weave around my problems."

Nystagmus gives him perpetually blurry vision, involuntary eyeball vibration, and nearsightedness. "I'm good at shapes," he explained. "If it's not close, even if it's big, I can't read it."
