Adele's a very generous woman (and she likes fresh sandwiches)

  • December 7, 2011
  • Brad O'Mance

According to a leaked copy of her rider, Adele is not a fan of American beers, loves "bite-size" chocolate bars and doesn't give away any free tickets to her shows.

The 'Cold Shoulder' hitmaker — who is still recovering from recent throat surgery to repair damaged vocal chords — apparently stipulated that all 'comp' tickets given away during her aborted US tour should come with a $20 charity donation that was non-negotiable.

The money was then donated to UK children's charity, Sands.

Elsewhere, she demanded one pack of Marlboro Lights and a disposable lighter, an assortment of chocolate bars, "freshly made, individually wrapped sandwiches", and European beers only.

Amazing.
