Aaliyah's producer has hinted at a new album

  • March 5, 2012
  • Mikey

An album of unreleased Aaliyah material is rumoured to be set for a forthcoming release.

Jeffrey 'J.Dub' Walker, member of production 'ensemble' The Hitmen, tweeted last night: "Just got great news today; the smash unreleased song called "Steady Ground" I produced on #Aaliyah is gonna be on her upcoming album."

J.Dub also produced 'I Refuse' and 'I Can Be' from Aaliyah's eponymous final record, for which she is thought to have recorded several additional tracks that didn't make the album cut.

You can listen to 'Steady Ground' here.
