United State Of Electronica: very brilliant

  • September 11, 2007
  • Popjustice

Did you listen to 'Open Your Eyes' by United State Of Electronica when we featured it as Song Of The Day recently? Probably not, so here it is again.

[audio:openyoueyes.mp3]

Amazing? Amazing. In addition to the self-evident amazingness of the song itself we asked the band to explain in five points why they also consider themselves to be amazing.

Here is what they told us.

FIVE REASONS WE ARE AMAZING
By United State Of Electronica

1. When we sleep at night we don’t count sheep, they count us.

2. The chief export of USE is amazement.

3. Red Bull gets its wings from our blood.

4. We invented history.

5. God borrowed some sugar from us the other day.

We don't think that leaves much room for debate.

Here is a video of some people who are DEFINITELY NOT ALL ON DRUGS having a dance to 'Open Your Eyes'.
