The only two decent videos released in the last nine days

  • June 29, 2009
  • Popjustice

Two great new pop videos appeared online last week — they're both performance-based and they both feature 'birds'.

Here's the first one — it's the Marina & The Diamonds clip for 'I Am Not A Robot'. You might remember we had a behind the scenes photo from this shoot.

Here, also, is the video for Martin Solveig feat Dragonette's 'Boys & Girls'. Jean Paul Gaultier was involved in making this video, not that you'd guess.

It's funny, sometimes, looking through music blogs (and often, we know, Popjustice) seeing these endless lists of posts going 'here's the such-and-such video' and 'here's so-and-so's new video' and all it amounts to is BLAHBLAHBLAH because there are just so many music videos flying around. It just becomes noise. And sometimes you forget how much impact a decent one — or two decent ones — can actually make.

Well done, The World Of Music Video Invention.
