Sound the 'free download of Richard X mix of Patrick Wolf single' siren

  • January 28, 2011
  • Popjustice
Let's start things off with a photograph of Patrick Wolf.

So anyway we love Richard X in one way and we love Patrick Wolf in a slightly different way and we love RICHARD X'S REMIX OF THE NEW PATRICK WOLF SINGLE 'THE CITY' in a way that is not suitable for publication in a family newspaper.

THIS is what it sounds like.

Guess what — you can download it legally for zero pence and in full 320kbps quality as an MP3 right here.

This is the link to use to download
the song under discussion.

Lovely. Very lovely indeed.

The full single package is out on March 14.

The press release features a typically unmelodramatic quote from Patrick. "The City’ saved my life. Living in central London, I woke up one broody morning having booked some studio time. It was a hot summers day and in the midst of the protests against the banks and BBC6 Music closing down. Seeing how the recession had worked its way into peoples relationships and ambitions, I went to my piano and started to fight against the negative by writing in the positive."

Well that is a nice story.
