One of the ten best things to ever happen to Popjustice

  • May 22, 2009
  • Popjustice

It's amazing enough that 'Story Of A Heart' exists at all, but it's kind of unbelievable that we're in a position to bring you what we believe to be a worldwide exclusive clip of the song — below and as today's Song Of The Day. What an amazing privilege. (The full radio exclusive falls to Radio 2, who are playing the song on Monday between 11am and midday.)

As if that wasnt't amazing enough really amazing is that the clip you can hear was edited down for us BY BLOODY BENNY ANDERSSON.

What can we tell from the clip? Well firstly that the song is amazing (obviously), secondly that when it comes to clips of songs, Benny favours a 4.5 second fade.

[audio:storyofaheart.mp3]

From today onwards and until further notice all future Song Of The Day clips that we edit will come with a 4.5 second fade as standard because if Benny says 4.5 seconds is the way to go, 4.5 seconds is the way to go. (Unless, we suppose, Bjorn has anything to say on the matter.)
