New Music Friday: Sugar & Spice and other things nice

  • April 6, 2018
  • Popjustice

Notes:

  • Hatchie's slightly magical Sugar & Spice sticks out like a sore thumb among this week's new releases but it's fair to say sore thumbs get a bit of a bad press these days largely due to the unsore thumb-pushing agenda of the media elite.
  • The Dua and Calvin single is absolutely, totally fine.
  • The Kylie album could perhaps have made a fairly decent 7‑track EP. Its best song is Lost Without You.
  • We'd quite happily listen to an entire album of Lady Leshurr doing her thing over She's A Bitch. Importantly, Black Panther is also this week's only release to namecheck ASDA's home delivery service.
