Malibu Red 'Creative Director' Ne-Yo has revealed the drink's theme tune at its New York launch party.
Talking to ABC News Radio (quoted here) he said the lyrical theme of 'Burning Up' matched the pretty catastrophic sounding rum/tequila 'mélange' of the beverage.
"It’s basically talking about how you take the smooth of the rum and the fire of the tequila and bring them together to just create a whole ‘nother sexy thing," he said of the song.
By the sounds of things, 'Burning Up' is due for its own single single release too as Ne-Yo also told the station that Chris Robinson had been drafted in to shoot the (presumably product placement heavy) music video.
