Cheryl Cole hopes 1D don't forget her now that they're really famous

Cheryl Cole would like at least some of the credit for One Direction's American Number One success.

Claiming that Simon didn't give the boys the attention they needed during The X Factor's vintage seventh season, Cheryl tweeted at the boys: "remember who really mentored you when @simoncowell wasn't there LMAO!!."
