Noel Gallagher has 'no doubt' that Adele will soon fade into obscurity.
In a considered conversation with the Mail On Sunday, Gallagher expressed his concern for forgettable female artists like Adele, saying: "I feel sorry for girls in the music industry. They do have a very short shelf life. For instance, Duffy: who? Gone. She was massive."
The 'frontman' predicts that the same fate awaits Adele, whose album '21' has sold over 15m copies globally. "I don’t doubt for a second that the same thing will happen to Adele," he explained.
Meanwhile, soon-to-be-unknown Adele is waiting to find out how many of six Grammy nominations she'll win next week.
