We have been quite enjoying the gradual development of Sunday Girl during 2010, and her first proper video — for new single 'Stop Hey' — appeared online earlier today. The track's a collaboration with Jim Eliot and is rather fantastic.

The idea of a major music industry machine incubating its own slightly Neon Gold-inspired alternapopstrel might seem slightly peculiar (Xenomania's work with Florrie seems like it has a similar aim) but it's easy to understand the temptation and at one point or another some of it's all going to pay off with a hit record, right?
