Leona on Oprah: it's like a dream come true just so amazing etc

  • March 19, 2008
  • Popjustice

Leona Lewis on OprahLeona Lewis performed 'Bleeding Love' live for the first time on US television two days ago.

In a huge endorsement of Leona, Oprah Winfrey turned over ten minutes of her show to an interview with Simon Cowell about how amazing Leona is, a video package summarising how amazing Leona is, a live performance of 'Bleeding Love' showing how amazing Leona is, then an interview with Leona about how amazing Leona is — real 'money can't buy' stuff.

While he was on the show, Simon also paid off the $162,000 mortgage of two guests whose daughter is struggling with cancer, which has had the unexpected effect of splashing Oprah's show all over the media today.

Anyway here's the Leona clip.

We could see Leona sing that song ten times a day for the next six months and still not get bored of it, which may come as good news to American readers who we suspect might be seeing Leona sing that song ten times a day for the next six months.

Look how badly it's doing on US iTunes…
