Britney Spears wants her next album to be "artsy fartsy"

  • September 10, 2014
  • Brad O'Mance

BritneyLingerie designer, fragrance flogger and part-time popstar Britney Spears has said she'd like her next album to be "very artsy fartsy".

Having a chat with someone from Extra TV, the 'Perfume' hitmaker confirmed she'd started working on a new album ("it's in the works, yes") and said the following thing when pressed about what it might sound like:

"I want to do something very artsy fartsy. Something I've never done before," she mused.

"Even if it's just going down a left lane and doing a bit of rock or rock/pop. Just do something really kind of out there and different."

Asked which artists she'd like to collaborate with on this artsy fartsy, rock/pop hybrid she said Katy Perry or Iggy Azalea. That's a fairly broad left lane, Britney, you could drive a caravan down that.
