Engelbert will perform first at Eurovision

The United Kingdom have been drawn first in the running order for this year’s Eurovision final, meaning Engelbert Humperdinck will open the show with ‘Love Will Set You Free’.

Unfortunately for ‘The Hump’ and the rest of the UK, no winner since 2004 has performed their song anywhere outside of the last ten of the night, so an early draw might not really be very helpful.

The draw for the semifinals has also taken place, with Jedward securing the closing slot in the first on May 22. The second semifinal will take place on May 24, before the final on May 26 in Baku.
