  • Dragonette are a four-piece from Canada. Toronto, more specifically.

  • They've only released two albums since they formed in 2005, but luckily they're both completely amazing so we'll let them off.

  • For example, this is good. As is this.

  • They're pretty good at writing amazing songs for other people, for example Basement Jaxx, Cyndi Lauper and Martin Solveig.

  • They also worked with Nicola Fucking Roberts on her 'Cinderella's Eyes' album. Amazing.

  • Seriously, that first Dragonette album is one of the defining moments of pop's last 14 years. If you don't own it, purchase it now.
