Usher's compared himself to Picasso

  • May 25, 2012
  • Brad O'Mance

Fans of modesty, humility and reserve rejoice: the never knowingly unridiculous Usher has compared himself to Picasso.

Talking to Q magazine (as quoted here), the 'Do It To Me' hitmaker  — and you'll need to sit down for this — said: "[I'm] a sponge, the more I absorb, the more I am able to articulate my vision, as artists do, like Picasso."

Blimey.

It didn't stop there mind you. "I'm an artist in that light. I went from being an artist to an artiste," he continued, apparently with a straight face.

Usher's equivalent of The Weeping Woman, 'Looking 4 Myself', is out on June 12.
