Tickets for Britney Spears' Las Vegas residency are selling just fine thanks for asking

  • September 25, 2013
  • Brad O'Mance

BritneyEveryone just calm down: tickets for Britney Spears' Las Vegas residency are selling just fine don't you worry (says Britney's manager, Larry Rudolph).

Following reports yesterday that tickets sales have been 'sluggish', Rudolph told E! the following things:

"This is the best-selling show in the history of Vegas. We have a great thing going here. We have a great show we're putting together. We have nothing but greenlights ahead of us. We have amazing sales."

He went on to say that all the highest-priced VIP packages for the first 16 shows had sold out already and that new ones would be put on sale soon to meet demand.

This is all well and good, but how are we supposed to read a story about Britney and her Las Vegas residency without hearing from Caesars chief marketing officer Tariq Shaukat?

"As we suspected, ticket demand for Britney Spears' headlining residency at Planet Hollywood has been extraordinary," Shaukat said in a statement. "This is as strong an on-sale performance as we've seen for any of our iconic Las Vegas headliner shows."

See? Everything's fine.
