The Wanted's new tour has been influenced by Take That

  • January 12, 2012
  • Brad O'Mance

The Wanted are looking to Take That for inspiration for their forthcoming UK tour.

Speaking to the Daily Star Jay said Take That were an influence because "they can do the showy side and the band side". He also said he wanted the shows to be as "dramatic as possible".

In the past, The Wanted have spiced up live shows by performing Taio Cruz medleys.

Nathan hinted that at one point they will become "a nine-piece band" to pay tribute to a mystery artist. The only thing Jay had to say about his or her identity was that it is "not Michael Jackson".

Well that narrows it down, thanks Jay.

The Wanted will kick off their tour in Nottingham on November 15.
