The Knife have started working on a new album

  • April 26, 2011
  • Brad O'Mance

The Knife have announced that they're hard at work on the follow-up to 2006's 'Silent Shout'.

In a post on their official site, the duo — singer Karin Dreijer Andersson and brother Olof Dreijer — claim the new album will be released "in 2012".

They then go on to discuss the plight of the Romani people in certain parts of Europe, but we don't know if these two things are connected.

Since 2006 Karin has formed Fever Ray and released one album, whilst Olof has started collecting 1970s seaside postcards*.
