Black Eyed Peas are not splitting up

  • November 23, 2011
  • Brad O'Mance

Black Eyed Peas are not splitting up, just having a little break.

In a series of interviews — all done separately, just to reinforce the fact that everything's fine in the Black Eyed Peas 'camp' — the members confirmed that they're all off to pursue solo endeavours, with will.i.am readying his forthcoming solo opus, '#willpower'.

Talking on the Ellen DeGeneres Show and reported by Billboard, i.am said, somewhat prosaically, "[we] always have two cycles of records and then we take a break." This sentiment was echoed by Taboo who told Reuters, "we are not breaking up".

The group will perform one last concert in Miami before their hiatus.
