Taylor Swift will be 'honoured' by Michelle Obama

  • March 28, 2012
  • Brad O'Mance

Taylor Swift will be honoured by Michelle Obama at this year's Nickelodeon Kid's Choice awards, reports Billboard.

The 'Mary's Song (Oh My My My)' chanteuse will collect The Big Help Award as recognition of her charity work. Swift is currently active in helping The Make-A-Wish Foundation, St Jude Medical Center and Habitat for Humanity.

Last May Swift raised $750,000 to help victims of the tornado in Tennessee by opening her tour rehearsals to the public for one night only as well as streaming the show online.

Michelle Obama was the recipient of the same award in 2010.
