Taylor Swift, No Doubt (and Muse) are performing at the MTV EMAs in November

  • October 2, 2012
  • Brad O'Mance

The first three performers for this year's MTV EMAs have been announced and they are: Taylor Swift (amazing), No Doubt (amazing) and Muse (oh well).

The awards take place in Frankfurt on November 11, which is a Sunday, and will be presented by Heidi Klum. We imagine some other people will be announced in due time, but it's fairly exciting news none the less.

But what do the popstars think about it all?

Taylor Swift had this to say: "I’ve always wanted to go to the EMA, because you hear about the spectacle of it, and how everyone just goes all out for their performances. To be nominated for five EMAs was the most exciting feeling, and I was absolutely blown away. I can’t wait to be there this year and perform on the show!"

Thrilling stuff.

One of No Doubt (or someone from their press team), said this: "The EMA is massive. Everyone is in top form. It's going to be an amazing time and a chance for us to show to the world why we're so proud of our new album. And it's always awesome to do what we love most, which is play live. We're really excited to be a part of it."

One of Muse said something about it all too, but we'll spare you that.
