Swedish House Mafia have bagged this week's Number One

  • October 15, 2012
  • Sam Hine

Swedish House Mafia claimed a UK Number One last night with pompous rave 'anthem' 'Don't You Worry Child'.

This leaves Adele's Bond song 'Skyfall' in second position, with K‑Pop 'chart-topper' 'Gangnam Style' by PSY dropping down to Number 3. Rihanna's 'Diamonds' and 'Anything Can Happen' by Ellie Goulding make up the rest of the Top 5.

Elsewhere Global Songstress And Noted Sleepwalker Leona Lewis turns up to the party at Number 7 with 'Trouble', Maroon 5's 'One More Night' charts at the underwhelming place of Number 18 and Taylor Swift's 'buzz' single 'I Knew You Were Trouble' goes in at Number 23.

On the album chart, Ellie Goulding's 'Halcyon' is kept from Number One by Mumford & Sons' 'Babel', which is pretty shit, but what can you do.

If you want proof of all this then toddle over here and have a look for yourself.
