Simon Cowell has quit UK X Factor

  • April 12, 2011
  • Brad O'Mance

According to the Daily Mail, Simon Cowell has told ITV 'chiefs' that he will not be returning as a judge on the UK version of X Factor.

Those ever trustworthy 'sources' say Cowell turned the job down due to health concerns, with his family apparently expressing worries about his stress levels and the amount of sleep he was getting.

Earlier rumours suggested that Cowell would be on the judging panels for both the UK and US versions of the show, commuting weekly between the two. Which sounds like a bit of a faff to us. And, evidently, to Simon too.
