Run for cover, alert the authorities: Jennifer Lopez has "let the beast loose"

  • June 17, 2014
  • Brad O'Mance

Jennifer LopezJ To The Jennifer 'Lo' Lopez, aka The Inelusive Chanteuse Jennifer Lopez, has said that her last world tour helped her get rid of the metaphorical cage she'd put round herself in the studio and "let [the] beast loose".

Having a chat with someone from Billboard about her new album 'AKA' etc, the 'Louboutins' hitmaker credited the tour with allowing her to do a bit more of the singing.

"After I got home, I realised I was a stronger vocalist than maybe even I gave myself credit for," she explained.

"I never put myself out there to show the world what I could do in the best way I could. And touring, you gain a lot when you go out there every night and sing when you feel good, or even when your voice is scratchy and you feel a little off."

But what about the cage stuff?

"It made me want to get back into the studio without that cage I had put on myself. Once I let that beast loose, I was doing things I didn't know I could do."

Blimey.
