Rihanna and Nicki Minaj have both been nominated for four American Music Awards, it's been announced.
The pair will 'battle it out' in the Favourite Female Artist — Pop/Rock category, while Rihanna is also 'up for' Artist of the Year, Favourite Female Artist — Soul/R&B and Favourite Album — Soul/R&B.
Nicki's other nominations are for Favorite Artist and Album in the Rap/Hip-Hop 'field' and Favorite Album — Pop/Rock.
Justin Bieber, One Direction, Usher, Drake and Maroon 5 all have to make do with three nominations each.
Christina Aguilera will be performing at the 'event' — which takes place on November 18 — so that's something to look forward to.
