Rejoice! The Voice has been commissioned for a third series

  • May 27, 2013
  • Brad O'Mance

The-VoiceGimmick-free TV talent show The Voice will be back for a third series, the BBC have confirmed.

'Taking to Twitter' the BBC said the following using these specific words: "We can confirm that @BBCTheVoiceUK will return for a third series."

That's all very well, but what does your friend and ours Mark Linsey, Controller, Entertainment Commissioning, think about it all?

"The Voice has been a huge success for BBC One. Finding a Saturday night break-out hit is incredibly difficult but this show hit the ground running and it's fantastic to ensure its future on the channel."

The show's ratings on Saturday were the lowest of the series so far, at 5.89m.
