Owl City would quite like to work with Ellie Goulding on his "trance-inspired" new album

  • December 6, 2012
  • Brad O'Mance

Useless popstar Owl City reckons his next album is "trance-inspired" and he'd quite like it it include a duet with Ellie Goulding.

"It's a little bit more edgy in a good way," the 'Vanilla Twilight' hitmaker told Billboard. "It sort of hits a little bit harder. I'm really inspired by dance music, so there's lots of trance-inspired music. I listen to a lot of trance DJs from Europe."

Sure you do Owl.

"It's very synth heavy, obviously," he mused. "It kind of grinds a little bit more in a cool way."

Blimey.

Of Ellie, he had this to say: "She's amazing."

So there you have it.
