Olly Murs is now Number One on both the singles and albums charts in the UK

  • December 3, 2012
  • Brad O'Mance

Olly Murs is Number One on the singles and albums chart this week you know.

'Troublemaker' (featuring Flo Rida, of course) is a non-mover on the singles chart, holding off the resurgent Bruno Mars and Rihanna who both climb seven places with 'Locked Out Of Heaven' and 'Diamonds', respectively.

Behind them are a lot of non-movers and at Number 10 is a new entry for streetpiss advocate Ke$ha with 'Die Young'.

On the album chart, Olly 'scores' his second Number One album in a row with 'Right Place Right Time', which knocks Rihanna's 'Unapologetic' down to Number 3.

Girls Aloud's 'Ten' has to make do with the Number 9 spot, which isn't great to be honest, but is six places higher than Alicia Keys' 'Girl On Fire' and significantly better than the Number 21 new entry for McFly's Best Of or Kelly Clarkson's Number 24 start with 'Greatest Hits: Chapter One'.

You can see both charts here and here.
