Nicki Minaj's new album has been partially inspired by the work of Enya

  • November 7, 2014
  • Brad O'Mance

Nicki MinajSnake-fancying pineapple rotator Nicki Minaj has said that one of the biggest influences on her forthcoming album 'The Pinkprint' is 'Trains And Winter Rains' hitmaker Enya (!).

Having a chat to V magazine, the actress, perfumer and larger bottomed lady advocate was asked who her most surprising influence on the album was, to which she replied:

"One of my biggest is Enya. There are two records early in the album where the airiness and the whimsicalness remind me of Enya, and I sort of crafted it thinking about her and the way her music makes me feel."

Amazing.

'The Pinkprint' is out on December 15.
