Michelle Williams wasn't surprised she managed to get Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland on her song

  • June 25, 2014
  • Brad O'Mance

Destiny's ChildMichelle Williams has said that getting Kelly Rowland and Beyoncé on her new single 'Say Yes' wasn't 'destiny' (do you see) — they actually made a pact about it all a few years ago.

Chatting away to MTV about how happy she was to have them on her song etc, the 'If We Had Your Eyes' hitmaker said it wasn't too much of a surprise to anyone to be honest.

"There was an interview we did some years ago saying that we would participate, in whatever capacity, on each other’s solo projects," she explained.

"Whether that is appearing with Beyoncé from time to time on her tours, or on shows, or Kelly’s album, so this was my turn now to have them on an original song on my album."

So there we have it.
