Melanie C has confirmed there will be no Spice Girls reunion

'Melanie' 'C' has deflated steadily-accu­mu­lat­ing rumours of a 2012 reform­a­tion for the Spice Girls.

Speaking on ITV's flagship programme Lorraine, and reported by The Mirror, the 'If That Were Me' legend said that the 'girls' wouldn't be per­form­ing at the Olympics or the Diamond Jubilee.

"Bad news for any Spice Girls fans – we don't plan to perform or reform. So I'm sorry to dis­ap­point anybody," she said.

Chisholm did have good things to say about 'Cannonball' inter­pret­ers Little Mix, claiming they reminded her "of the Spice Girls in that way, because they’re really fun and young and I think that’s what pop music should be about".

"It’s kind of got a bit too serious and a bit too sexy at times," she continued.
