Loreen wants to work with some boring UK dubstep 'acts'

  • June 2, 2012
  • Brad O'Mance

In not-exactly-what-we-wanted-to-hear news, Loreen has expressed a desire to move into the world of dubstep.

Talking to the Daily Star Playlist during her recent UK promotional blitzkrieg, the Engelbert Humperdinck conqueror said: "The UK has the best dubstep ever, the underground music scene here is crazy good."

"James Blake, Jamie Woon, Skream, they are all so exciting and I would love to work here with some underground artists because it’s a metropolis," she continued.

Still, that's a little way off. For now we have the album to look forward to. "A big part of my album is really dark," she explained. "It’s out in August and it’s going to be fusion between the electronic world and the organic."

Oh dear.
