Little Mix winning The X Factor final is the most watched thing on TV so far this year, reports The Guardian.
Despite the episode on Sunday December 11 having the lowest X Factor final viewing figures for four years — at 13.7m — that 'failure' was still enough to push the Royal Wedding coverage down to second place.
Quite right too.
It's sobering to think that last year's final was watched by 17.7 million people, with fewer than half those people going on to buy Matt Cardle's album.
