Leanne Mitchell hasn't given up on her single just yet

  • June 13, 2012
  • Brad O'Mance

Celebrated winner of The Voice Leanne Mitchell hasn't written off her debut single just yet.

Fully aware that her cover of 'Run To You' hasn't yet reached its impact date (the CD version comes out on July 9), she had this to say about it's recent Number 45 debut: "It’s been a week and it hasn’t had a chance to do anything yet."

Hm. If only she'd had some exposure of some kind.

Still, she's not letting it stop her from working on her debut album, telling the Daily Star that she's hoping it will be "a good balance between my own songs and cover versions".

Good luck with that.
