Lady Gaga and Beyoncé have made Forbes' list of the most powerful women in the world

  • August 23, 2012
  • Darren Sharp

Lady Gaga and Beyoncé are part of a handful of popstars included in Forbes' annual list of the world's most powerful women.

Gaga came in at Number 14 for creating the Born This Way Foundation and, of course, for saving the gays.

Beyoncé's inclusion at Number 32 stems from her 'Get Me Bodied' music video campaign promoting health and fitness in youth. Jennifer Lopez and Shakira also made the cut at Number 38 and Number 40, respectively, proving that this list was in no way based on recent album sales.
