Justin Timberlake would still like to become a country singer at some point

  • November 19, 2013
  • Brad O'Mance

Justin Timberlake newYou have been probably worrying about this as the days continue to tick by but don't panic, Justin 'JT' Timberlake has claimed there's still time for him to move full-time into country music.

Asked about his previous dreams of being a country music titan, Timberlake told The Highway Hot 30 Live (as quoted here): "They're still alive."

He then went on to talk about the country-tinged 'Drink You Away' from his current album.

"I just did an interview earlier today and I said 'I'm America, that's what I am — in all sense of the word'. I grew up outside of Memphis, Tennessee, and I listened to country music, R&B music, classic rock…Everything."

It would be good if he got more into pop again, but what can you do.
