Justin Bieber's manager thinks his "prick" behaviour is other people's fault

  • July 23, 2012
  • Joel Freeman

Scooter Braun, manager of Justin Bieber and Carly 'Rae' Rae Jepsen has responded to claims from CSI producers that Justin was a bit of a prick on set.

Acknowledging accusations that the 'Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire)' hitmaker punched a cake and locked a producer in a cupboard on the set, Scooter recalled an earlier conversation with producers, saying: "I said, 'Let me ask you a question. When he locked you in the closet, did you tell him you were angry?' He goes, 'No, I needed him to work, so I laughed.'"

"And I said, 'So he saw you acknowledge his joke and say it's OK? Then you're more to blame than him. He's a kid — he's waiting for someone to tell him where the limits are."

"At the end of the day, even in his most selfish moments you just need to point out that he's being selfish," Scooter told Rolling Stone magazine. "He's more embarrassed about it than anything. When he's being a prick, he's not being a prick because he's famous. He's being a prick because he's a kid."

That resolves that, then.
