Jay‑Z opened SXSW last night

Jay‑Z signalled the unof­fi­cial opening of the SXSW music con­fer­ence last night with a per­form­ance streamed live around the world.

"I'm feeling a lot of love in this building," Jay‑Z told the audience. "I'm feeling a lot of love in this city today. I'm feeling a lot of love in this city tonight."

The 80-minute AMEX Sync show, in col­lab­or­a­tion with the fancy credit card and Twitter, saw Jay 'crowd­source' his setlist from hasht­agged requests. Surprisingly, fans suggested some of the rapper's more obscure hits like '99 Problems', 'Dirt Off Your Shoulder' and 'Empire State Of Mind' as well as latest smash, 'Glory'.
