Jake Shears thinks the song he did with Pharrell is one of his best

Jake Shears had only chatted on the phone with Pharrell Williams before they recorded 'Inevitable' for Scissor Sisters' new album.

It wasn't an ideal col­lab­or­a­tion scenario for old spangle-chaps who told Metro: "I like to know them and have a rapport with them. I'd only had a phone con­ver­sa­tion with Pharrell."

Either way, Jake seemed pretty pleased with the fruits of their rapport-less labour. "We wrote one of our best songs ever," Jake notes. "Whatever it was, it worked."
