Hurts ate fig rolls during the making of 'Exile'

  • March 15, 2013
  • Brad O'Mance

A Fig Roll'Miracle' hitmakers Hurts have been talking about the making of their new album 'Exile', specifically their daily rituals.

"We knew we'd have achieved what we wanted to if we got six months down the line and forgot our own names and walked round like ghosts in this flat," explained Theo to the BBC, with regards to sessions in a small flat in Manchester.

"I had a moment where I watched shopping channels and ate four boxes of fig rolls," Adam announced. "I didn't speak to Theo for two days."

In a statement that perhaps sums 'Exile' in unintended ways, Theo then added: "Once you've lost perspective, you can't go any further."

'Exile' is of course out now.
