Emeli Sandé is pretty confident that she'll be able to break America

  • February 11, 2013
  • Marc Ridley

4136-emeli_sande_2011_420x250Emeli Sandé has said that she plans to let her US career 'happen naturally', despite the quick American success achieved by other British artists.

Speaking to That Grape Juice, Sandé explained: "I’d love to match the success all around the world and it’s great because the album’s started to do really well in Europe."

She continued: "I’ve been doing a lot of shows and letting things happen naturally so I think everything will fall into place."

"You really can’t go over there for a month or two you know, you really have to invest a huge chunk of your life to make it happen. I think if you put out great music and you're patient and willing to put the work in, it’ll work out."

Our fingers are crossed, Emeli.
