  • December 2, 2016

Dua Lipa, Anne-Marie and X Factor discovery Rag'n'Bone Man are all nominated for the Brits 2017 Critics' Choice award thing.

Here's a nice picture of them all trying to look moody (please not3 the photo credit for what you are about to see is JMEnternational):

The winner (Dua Lipa), will be announced on Thursday December 8 and will also be part of the nominations launch thing on January 14. The actual awards show is on February 22.

Here's what Dua had to say about it all:

“I couldn't believe it when I got the news. So honoured and grateful to be nominated for the Critics’ Choice Award.
This is the highlight of my year. [She's clearly forgotten that chat she had with Popjustice about motorway service stations.] I've said so many times, that I've hit a lot of milestones this year from performing at Glastonbury, to doing my own European tour, [TO TALKING ABOUT MOTORWAY SERVICE STATIONS WITH POPJUSTICE,] never doing the same thing two days in a row and going to places I've never been before.
Truly living my dream, this is the icing on the cake. A huge dream of mine! Thank you for all the love and support from the bottom of my heart this means the world to me! Thank you.”

Anne-Marie, on the other hand, said these words: “I actually can't believe I am nominated for this amazing award. This is so sick. To everyone who voted for me I am so grateful and humbled, here's to 2017!”

Mr Boneman might have said something as well but who fucking cares.
