Diane Warren has been writing for Beyoncé, Celine Dion and a whole load of other popstars

  • August 17, 2012
  • Brad O'Mance

Above-average writer of song Diane Warren has been quite busy of late.

Diane chatted to The Montreal Gazette about writing for Beyoncé specifically, saying: "They’re great songs. I think they’re on the level of ['I Was Here'] and I’m really excited about that."

"Some people come in my studio and I’m like, 'Oh god,' and you’ve got to fix them up and it’s just hard," Warren continued. "Some of the people that get deals, you just can’t understand. But then when you work with a Beyoncé or so sadly Whitney…It’s so beautiful."

Not only has Beyoncé been singing some of Warren's songs but she's also been recommending her to friends.

"I’m working with Kelly Rowland because Beyoncé was telling her to get together with me," she went on to reveal.

The songwriter has also been writing for Celine Dion, Kylie and Emeli Sandé, which is always nice to know.
