Demi Lovato says that she Googles herself all the time to keep abreast of her fans' opinions of her.
She told Metro: "You want to see how people react to your new video or songs. You need to see what your fans like; you need to know what they think and you have to go on the Internet to see that."
While sometimes she just wants to see "how my hair looked at an event", she claimed that she has had to "develop a selective ear" to ignore the insults.
Demi's 'Unbroken' album is finally out in the UK on Monday.
