Daft Punk have signed a new record deal

daft punkDaft Punk have signed a new record deal with Columbia, it's been confirmed.

According to various sources, the prolific duo plan to follow up their 2005 album 'Human After All' — released via their previous label, Virgin Records — at some point this Spring, but no actual dates have been confirmed.

The 'Derezzed' hitmakers have appar­ently been working with the likes of Nile Rodgers and Giorgio Moroder on the album, which seems like a good idea doesn't it.
