Conor Maynard wants his nan to like his new album

  • July 12, 2012
  • Brad O'Mance

Conor Maynard would quite like it if his nan enjoyed his new album.

Speaking to Music Week about Pharrell Williams and YouTube and blah blah blah, and when it was put to him that his new album sounds quite grown-up, he replied: "I wanted to create an album that has songs for everyone. Songs for the younger fanbase and songs for a much older fanbase."

That's a pretty broad spectrum, so Conor got a little more specific: "I want my nan and little sister to be able to enjoy it."

This is great news, what with his new single being about fucking a Vegas whore.

"As an artist you want as many people as possible to listen to it so that was the plan behind having more mature tracks and also having those young, pop kind of tracks," he added.

('Artist'.)

('Young, pop kind of tracks'.)
